I'm being spoiled
Well, not only did I get a bonus at work, but I also got a nice little gift.
And then, yesterday, I was surprised by seeing a new flat-screen monitor at my desk! Ironically, someone told me my regular monitor was dying (of course I couldn't tell because I looked at it every day), and then out of the blue I got a nifty new one. :)
They're spoiling me at work.

Sweet. Jason loves his mp3 player, although it's not an ipod. What do you think you'll use yours for?
ah...music.
Just curious...what does Jason use it for?
He's listened to dozens of hours of preaching while he's at work--mostly preachers he would not normally have an opportunity to hear (MacArthur, Piper, Mahaney, etc.), as well as preachers he really enjoys (Doran, Bauder). During these months of transition and waiting, being challenged by the preaching of others has really been a blessing to him.
That's great! I suppose his job now allows him time to do that. One of my co-workers bought an ipod dock that works in your car. I'm going to wait to see if he says it works well or not. I might get one if it does work. My cd player in my car is very close to dead.
yep--it is the one with the least amount of memory, but it's an ipod. It's what got me through this trip.
