Jared thought it was the best thing ever! The tarantula belongs to the teenage sons of the couple with whom we stayed for Jeremy's wedding. The sons were on a mission trip to Jamaica, and the mother didn't want anything to do with the tarantula. (Can't say I blame her!) She was amazed that Jared was that fearless with it. She said that he was the bravest person around the tarantula that she'd seen. I wasn't surprised. :-/
That is too cool! I'm sure Chris will be jealous when he sees the picture. Did I ever tell you he'd like all sorts of creepy pets? Since he can't have creepy pets of the animal sort, we have creepy plant pets. We're so weird.
You are weird, but I love you anyway. :-)Jason had all kinds of creepy pets when he was younger, so Jared's propensity to the same kind of weirdness doesn't surprise at all--unfortunately for me. :-/
